Infosys is discouraging its workforce from working more than 9.15 hours a day, implementing a system to track working hours.
This move comes after criticism of the suggestion by Infosys co-founder Nr Narayan Murthy for 70 hours of work per week.
Infosys aims to promote work-life balance and prevent employee burnout by encouraging a balance between work and personal life.
The company will send 'health reminders' to employees exceeding the daily limit, offering tips on breaks, recharging, delegation, and disconnecting from work outside official hours.
