Former Tesla service manager claims the company did not install air conditioning in one of its service shops, resulting in unsafe working conditions during heat waves.
Repeated requests to install air conditioning were denied by Tesla's finance department, according to a complaint filed in federal court.
The former manager alleges retaliation from bosses, including being stripped of responsibilities and ultimately fired, for pushing the air conditioning issue.
Tesla denies wrongdoing and has petitioned to move the case to federal court as the plaintiff is seeking between $2.7 million and $10 million in damages.
