The facility will be essential in supporting India’s space program.</li><li>Assam government pledged full support for the project, with plans to establish a space museum in the area for the benefit of students and the public.</li><li>ISRO will provide necessary technical assistance in collaboration with Assam for the satellite project, ASSAMSAT, which will focus on agriculture, disaster management, infrastructure development, and border security.</li></ul>
