<ul data-eligibleForWebStory="false"><li>The US International Trade Commission has ruled that Insta360 infringed on some of GoPro's patents by importing and selling products in the United States that violate GoPro's intellectual property.</li><li>GoPro is pleased with the ruling, particularly because Insta360 was found to infringe on a patent covering GoPro's Hero camera design and validated patent claims related to HyperSmooth video stabilization.</li><li>However, Insta360 claims that the ITC rejected GoPro's utility patent claims, stating that patents relating to stabilization, horizon leveling, distortion, and aspect ratio conversion are invalid or not infringed.</li><li>The ITC is set to deliver a final determination on November 10, 2025, and while the ruling doesn't prevent Insta360 from selling its cameras in the US, GoPro is seeking exclusion and cease and desist orders against Insta360 products.</li></ul>
