ITV and Disney have reached a deal to share programs like The Bear and Love Island on each other's platforms in the UK.
ITV will air first seasons of popular Disney shows on its ITVX service for free, including Andor, Only Murders in the Building, and reality shows like The Kardashians.
In return, Disney will offer ITV programs such as Mr Bates vs The Post Office and A Spy Among Friends at no extra cost to Disney+ subscribers, along with Love Island: All Stars and series like Endeavour and Vera.
The alliance aims to sell advertising inventory around the shared shows, benefiting both companies, and signifies a changing relationship between British broadcasters and US streamers.
