<ul><li>Kevin Cash, a Navy veteran with five degrees and a background in business intelligence, has applied for nearly 2,200 jobs since getting laid off in November 2022.</li><li>He has been struggling financially and now drives for Uber and does Taskrabbit gigs.</li><li>Cash says many posted jobs are fake and has tried to network through his Uber passengers.</li><li>He has a 0.55% chance of getting a phone screener and a 0.28% chance of getting an interview for each application that he submits.</li><li>Cash had his resume professionally reviewed nine times and has stopped applying for jobs after hitting 2,200 applications.</li></ul>
