Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) will halt shipments of its UK-made cars to the US to address new trading terms imposed by President Donald Trump's 25% tariff on imported cars.
JLR considers the US an important market, accounting for nearly a quarter of its global sales, which include popular models like Range Rover Sports, Defenders, and Jaguar F-PACE.
On the other hand, Nissan, as the biggest Japanese vehicle exporter to the US, will stop taking new orders for two Mexican-built Infiniti SUVs in response to the tariffs.
Automakers like Toyota, Honda, and Hyundai have stated they will not raise prices in the short term, while others such as Kia and Mazda have not made similar commitments.
