Jakub Geltner presented two new installations, Nest 11 and Nest 12, at Cultuurcentrum De Steiger Menen in Belgium as part of the exhibition City Trip 2 – La Socit du Spectacle.
The installations feature surveillance equipment and communication technologies, including cameras and antennas, transformed into curvilinear, spatially dynamic forms.
Geltner's design approach blurs the line between mechanical and organic forms, emphasizing the aesthetics of control and observation while inviting closer inspection of familiar technologies.
Nest 11 and Nest 12 reflect on the merger of infrastructure and biology, with elements resembling nests, vines, or root systems to create a continuous visual flow.
