Japanese startup ispace will attempt a lunar touchdown on Friday with an unmanned lander named Resilience, two years after its first unsuccessful attempt.
If successful, it will mark the third private mission to land on the Moon, and the first by a non-U.S.-based company.
Touchdown is expected at 4:17 am Japan time, streamed on ispace's website.
Ispace CEO expresses confidence in the successful landing, leveraging experience from previous missions.
