Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, is now the 11th wealthiest person in the world with a net worth of $122 billion.Most of Huang's wealth comes from his 3.5% stake in the Santa Clara-based chipmaker.Nvidia overtook Apple on Tuesday to become the world's most valuable company, with a market cap of $3.43tn.Nvidia has been one of the key beneficiaries of the AI investing craze, m which saw its sales and profits soar.Huang co-founded Nvidia in 1993 and sold 1.3 million shares in June 2021, worth almost $169 million.Huang moved to the US as a child and studied electrical engineering before founding Nvidia with two friends in 1993.Nvidia supplies hardware to major AI players, including Google, Amazon and Microsoft.Huang believes that generative AI has now hit a 'new tipping point'.Huang and his wife made a $2m donation in 2019 to the Oneida Baptist Institute, where Huang studied as a child.Despite his wealth, Huang reportedly still enjoys wearing a leather jacket everywhere he goes.
