The road transport department (JPJ) received more than 6,000 complaints through the MyJPJ mobile app during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri operations.
The highest number of complaints were for queue-cutting with 1,766 reports, followed by 1,625 complaints for misuse of emergency lanes and 843 complaints for running red lights.
The number of complaints received was encouraging as it indicated active usage of the mobile application to report errant motorists.
Complaints with accompanying images or video footage were reviewed and further actions were taken, such as issuing notices and requiring drivers to come to the JPJ office for investigations.
