  • JPJ to enforce ban on heavy vehicles continuously driving on the fast lane to reduce accidents involving such vehicles.
  • Goods vehicles and public service vehicles are not allowed to drive continuously on the rightmost lane except when overtaking.
  • Offenders can face a maximum fine of RM4,000 or jail time not exceeding 12 months for subsequent offences.
  • Tighter enforcement will be ongoing to ensure compliance with road safety regulations, with the public encouraged to report violations via the MyJPJ app or email.
