The Eco-Museum and Orla Piratininga Park in Rio de Janeiro have been unveiled, contributing to the environmental revitalization efforts in the region.
The project, part of the Municipality of Niterói’s Sustainable Ocean Region Program, is the largest phytoremediation initiative in Latin America and focuses on water quality management and pollution treatment.
The park features hiking trails, bike paths, sports facilities, and wildlife observatories to immerse visitors in the area's rich biodiversity.
The Eco-Museum, designed by KAAN Architecten, is a fully accessible space that promotes environmental education and community engagement, making it a vital hub for understanding the region’s restored ecosystems.
