The Karnataka government and IN-SPACe have signed two MoUs to establish a Centre of Excellence for Space Technologies and a space manufacturing park in Bengaluru.
The Centre of Excellence aims to drive R&D in space technologies, while the manufacturing park will provide infrastructure for satellite and launch vehicle production.
These initiatives align with the Indian Space Policy 2023 and aim to support Karnataka's NewSpace ecosystem by fostering innovation and public-private partnerships.
The agreements are part of efforts to transform Karnataka into a global destination for space technologies, with a focus on training professionals, attracting investments, and supporting startups.
