More than 10,000 professional actors, musicians, writers, and other creators have signed a petition urging against AI using their work without permission for training.
The signers include famous names such as Kevin Bacon, Julianne Moore, Thom Yorke, Björn Ulvaeus, Harlan Coben, and Ted Chiang.
They claim that the unlicensed use of creative works for training generative AI violates intellectual property laws.
The statement has gained support from organizations like SAG-AFTRA, Universal Music Group, and the International Publishers Association.
