Kia will announce the official prices of the Carens Clavis EV on July 15, 2025, marking their first electric mass-market offering in India.
The all-electric MPV will be available in a 7-seat configuration and is expected to be priced similarly to the Hyundai Creta Electric, ranging from Rs 17.99 lakh to Rs 24.38 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Carens Clavis EV is anticipated to compete with the BYD eMax 7 and MG Windsor EV in terms of pricing, starting around Rs 18 lakh and going up to Rs 24.50 lakh.
Kia has confirmed a 490km range for the Carens Clavis EV, although the battery specifications have not been disclosed yet. It is expected to use powertrains similar to the Hyundai Creta Electric's 42kWh and 51.4kWh battery pack options, offering a range of 390km and 473km, respectively.
