Kia India plans to launch 5 new SUVs by 2025, including the Syros, updated Carens, Carens EV, new-generation Seltos with a hybrid powertrain, and the Sonet EV.
The upcoming Syros sub-4 metre SUV is expected to compete against Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, and Skoda Kylaq.
Kia expects the Syros SUV to increase its sales by 18% and aims to reach 300,000 total vehicle sales next year.
The Syros SUV offers two powertrain options, a 120bhp 1.0L turbo petrol and a 116bhp 1.5L diesel, along with several segment-first features.
