The latest Kindle software update allows users to filter out NSFW ads from displaying on the lockscreen and homescreen of ad-supported e-readers.
The 5.18.3 software update for select Kindle models enables users to choose from new lockscreen ad options in the settings.
Users can now disable 'Personalized Ads' based on their browsing history and activate 'Filter ads' to hide inappropriate content, determined by Amazon.
If users still encounter unwanted ads after enabling filtering, they can pay $20 on Amazon's website to remove ads from their e-reader completely.
