Italian carmaker, Lamborghini delays the launch of its first all-electric Lanzador crossover until 2029.

Despite offering certain advantages over combustion-engine vehicles, EVs also have drawbacks that have prevented them from becoming the dominant mode of transportation.
Lamborghini CEO, Stephan Winkelmann, stated that the new target date will be delayed to 2029.
The company involved in designing Made-for-India electric cars, Tata Motors has also pushed back the launch of its Nexon EV.
Meanwhile, Lamborghini’s biggest rival, Ferrari plans on launching its first all-electric model in 2026.
Lamborghini's Winkelmann has hinted that simply chasing the technology for the sake of electrification could be a mistake.
The company also is waiting for a clearer regulatory outlook in the European Union.
Lamborghini approximately sold around 8,200 cars last year.
The Lanzador was very ambitious for Lamborghini, which claimed that the EV would be endlessly adjustable.
