KiranaPro, the grocery delivery startup, experienced a severe cyberattack that wiped its servers, leading to a halt in operations.
The cyberattack was described as deliberate and personal by Deepak Ravindran, the CEO of KiranaPro.
The breach, which occurred on May 24 and 25, resulted in the deletion of the company’s app code and servers containing sensitive customer information.
KiranaPro has filed a complaint with the cybercrime cell, engaged ethical hackers and forensic experts, and requested assistance from GitHub and the founding team to address the attack.
