<ul><li>Leapmotor Australia has reduced the warranty for its 2025 model year C10 mid-size SUV to six years and 150,000km, including the new C10 REEV hybrid.</li><li>The previous 2024 model came with a seven-year/160,000km warranty, with an eight-year warranty on its battery pack, and five years of roadside assistance and capped price servicing.</li><li>The warranty change for the 2025 model year does not affect existing 2024 Leapmotor vehicles, maintaining the eight-year/160,000km battery warranty.</li><li>While Leapmotor's new warranty aligns with Chinese rival BYD, it comes at a time when many brands in Australia are extending their warranty offerings, with Hyundai, Kia, GWM/Haval, Skoda, KGM, LDV, Mitsubishi, MG, and Nissan offering longer warranties.</li></ul>
