Shares of Leela Hotels operator Schloss Bangalore Ltd. listed at a discount of 6.67% on the National Stock Exchange and 6.55% on the BSE below the issue price.
The IPO of Schloss Bangalore was subscribed 4.5 times, with institutional buyers showing strong demand, while the retail investor portion was underbid.
The IPO included fresh equity shares worth Rs 2,500 crore and an offer for sale component totaling Rs 1,000 crore, with the company planning to utilize the net proceeds for repayment of outstanding borrowings and general corporate purposes.
Schloss Bangalore, a luxury hospitality company, currently operates 13 hotels in India and plans to add seven new properties by 2028, expanding its luxury hospitality footprint.
