Leopold Banchini envisions a new rehearsal hall for Neojiba in Brazil that harmoniously integrates with the lush forest surroundings.
The rehearsal hall is a concrete structure elevated on slender supports, designed to float above the forest floor, allowing air and plant life to pass underneath.
The architecture focuses on acoustic precision with nearly windowless concrete surfaces offering glimpses of the surrounding greenery, connecting musicians with the environment outside.
The design includes a garden planted on the rooftop, blurring the boundary between the building and the environment, providing young musicians with a purpose-built space for collective practice.
