Licences of commercial vehicle drivers involved in crashes will be suspended until investigations are completed according to road transport department (JPJ) director-general Datuk Aedy Fadly Ramli.
Holder of a PSV or GDL licence found guilty after a police investigation will have their licences terminated.
Suspended individuals must undergo and pass a refresher course before their licences are reactivated or removed from the suspension list, with fees to cover the course costs.
Five commercial vehicle drivers, including those in the fatal FRU lorry crash in Teluk Intan and the bus incident in Nilai, have been suspended.
