The Royal Shakespeare Company is partnering with a game studio to create a playable adaptation of Macbeth from the point of view of someone examining Lady Macbeth's computer.
The game, titled Lili, is set in modern Iran and reimagines Macbeth's witches as hackers, incorporating surveillance cameras and cyber-infiltration.
Lili will feature a blend of live-action cinema and interactive gameplay, allowing players to make choices that influence Lady Macbeth's destiny.
The game is being co-created with New York studio iNK Stories and will star Zar Amir, drawing on her lived experience as an Iranian woman in exile.
