Climacool Teahouse is a temporary bamboo installation by line+ studio in Chengdu's Taikoo Li, exploring urban climate responses through lightweight materials and design strategies.
The project features a central grove of live bamboo under a suspended LED ring, creating a climate-responsive space with natural airflow and thermal comfort elements.
Four core design elements include Bamboo Grove, Bamboo Strips, Bamboo Furniture, and Environmental Control, contributing to the spatial programming and microclimatic relief of the installation.
Constructed within five days, the installation serves as a temporary urban interface focusing on environmental comfort and spatial orientation, showcasing lightweight and adaptive urban architecture.
