Linux Kernel 6.14 was released with added support for SpacemiT platforms, T-Head Vector Extension support for RISC-V, and RISC-V KVM support.
The kernel also introduced new features for Intel and AMD, such as THC driver for touchscreen functionality in Intel Laptops and dynamic preferred core rankings for AMD.
Other changes include support for Blaize BLZP1600, SpacemiT K1 & Snapdragon 8 Elite SoCs, Acer WMI driver for specific laptops, and updated hardware support.
To install Linux Kernel 6.14 in Ubuntu, you can use the Ubuntu Mainline Kernel PPA or download the .deb packages and install them via the terminal.
