Liquid Detected in Lightning Connector or USB-C Port: What to Do
- If liquid is detected in the lightning connector or charging port of your iPhone, it will not charge to prevent damage.
- It is not recommended to override the warning and force the device to charge; rather, let the iPhone dry for up to 24 hours.
- If water is in the iPhone's charging port, you can still wirelessly charge it as long as the exterior is dry (iPhone 8 or newer).

- AirPods have varying degrees of water resistance, and there are steps to take if your iPhone suffers water damage.
- There is no native feature to eject water from the iPhone, but a shortcut can simulate this function.
- Checking for water damage can be done through the SIM tray on the iPhone.
