Liquidmetal establishes new manufacturing facility in Hangzhou, China

  • Liquidmetal Technologies, Inc. establishes Hangzhou Feifeng Liquidmetal Co. Ltd., a joint venture company in Hangzhou, China, for manufacturing amorphous alloy products with a new plant anticipated to be operational by mid-2026.
  • The joint venture will be owned 70% by Liquidmetal Asia and 30% by an individual investor with an initial capital investment of $6.0 million USD. The manufacturing facility is planned to have 71,000 square feet of space and accommodate up to 40 die-cast machines.
