A professional drifter is opting for a huge 10.3-liter V-8 engine for his BMW M2 drift build, going against the norm of using smaller engines.
The engine, built by Steve Morris Engines, is based on Chevy's big-block platform but features new components including an aluminum block, lightweight camshaft, RaceTech pistons, AFR heads, and more.
The 10.3-liter V-8 produces an impressive 1,125 horsepower and 931 pound-feet of torque at 7,000 rpm without forced induction, emphasizing the power of displacement.
Noteworthy for drifting, the engine offers exceptional low-end torque, reaching over 700 lb-ft of torque at just 3,000 rpm and can rev up to 8,000 rpm while maintaining power.
