Lloyds Banking Group plans to shift 4,000 IT roles to India by the end of 2025.This would mean that almost 50% of Lloyds' engineers will be based outside of Britain by the end of this year.The bank aims to create 1,200 new roles for highly-skilled tech workers as part of the restructuring and review exercise.Lloyds has already let go of 500 people in 2021, closed offices and branches, and is focused on digitization and cost-cutting measures.
