London-based insurtech unicorn Marshmallow has raised $90M (€79M) in a funding round at a valuation of $2B (€1.7B).
The funding round was led by Portage Capital and saw participation from BlackRock and Columbia Lake Partners.
Marshmallow plans to use the funds to expand into financial services and offer more insurance products.
The company focuses on car insurance for immigrants and underserved populations, claiming to insure one million drivers with an annual revenue run rate of $500M.
