macOS Sequoia, version 15.0, has been released, bringing new features and enhancements to Macs.
Most notable is the iPhone Mirroring feature that allows control of the user's iPhone from a Mac via the cursor.
Other additions include a dedicated Passwords app, easier window tiling, more wallpapers and screensavers, and Distraction Control and Highlights in Safari.
To download the new update, users can go to the Apple menu, select 'System Settings', 'General', then 'Software Update', and choose 'Update Now'.
The new release also includes Apple Intelligence AI features that help with writing, summarizing and rewording text, and ChatGPT integration.
Users should backup their system via Time Machine or their preferred method before installing the system software update.
Features of macOS Sequoia listed in the release notes include the ability to access and control your iPhone on Mac, tiled window enhancements, redesigned Reader in Safari, audio transcription in Notes and more.
