Mahindra Aerostructures, a unit of Mahindra and Mahindra, has secured an order from Airbus Helicopters to manufacture and assemble the main fuselage of the H130 helicopter.
Mahindra Aerostructures will produce the main fuselage assembly in its local facility and deliver it to Airbus Helicopters' facilities in Europe by March 2027.
The H130 is an intermediate single-engine helicopter used for passenger transport, tourism, medical airlift, surveillance missions, and private and business aviation.
Airbus aims to increase its annual procurement of components and services from India to $2 billion by the end of the decade.
