<ul><li>Malaysia remains committed to establishing 10,000 EV charging stations nationwide by the end of 2025, according to deputy prime minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.</li><li>As of December 31, 2024, the country had 3,611 EV charging bays in its public EV charging network.</li><li>Challenges exist in meeting the demand for DC chargers over AC ones, with efforts being made to address this issue.</li><li>The original plan outlined 9,000 AC and 1,000 DC public chargers, but the government revised the DC allocation to 1,500 units.</li></ul>
