India's retail inflation eased by 27 basis points in March, slipping to the lowest since August 2019.
The consumer price index-based inflation moderated to 3.34% in March, from 3.61% in February.
Food and beverage inflation eased to 2.88% from 3.84% in February.
Key inflation metrics include rise in cereal prices, decline in inflation for meat and fish, and contraction in inflation for eggs and pulses category.
