The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI), a charitable organization founded by Meta (formerly Facebook) CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan, has reportedly laid off around 48 employees.
CZI, which was established in 2015, focuses on various philanthropic efforts, including education and healthcare initiatives.
Impacted employees were offered a severance package that includes 16 weeks of base pay, continued health insurance, and a $10,000 stipend.
