Maruti e Vitara bookings for the electric SUV have begun at dealership level, with the official launch date yet to be announced.
The electric Vitara will be available with two battery pack options - 49kWh and 61kWh - sourced from BYD, and will have a front-axle mounted electric motor.
Maruti e Vitara will offer features such as wireless phone charger, panoramic sunroof, wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, along with safety features like Level 2 ADAS suite and 7 airbags.
The e Vitara lineup is expected to come in three variants, available in six single-tone and dual-tone colour options.
