Infosys' subsidiary, Infosys McCamish Systems, entered into a Stipulation and Consent Order with the State of Vermont Department of Financial Regulation due to alleged violations of the Vermont Security Breach Notice Act.
Within 30 days of the order, IMS is required to pay an administrative penalty of USD 125,000 without admitting to the alleged violations.
The order was entered into to resolve the matter without a hearing, defining the terms and conditions agreed upon by the parties.
In a related incident earlier this year, Infosys had settled six class action lawsuits by agreeing to pay USD 17.5 million into a fund.
