McKinsey & Co is reportedly planning to cut around 2,000 jobs, primarily in its support staff, according to sources cited by Bloomberg News.
The move is said to be part of the consulting giant's Project Magnolia, which aims to restructure the way its non-client-serving teams operate to better support and scale with the firm.
The layoffs follow similar moves by other professional services firms, including KPMG, which recently announced plans to cut nearly 2% of its US workforce.
