<ul><li>In a heartwarming event at IIIT Bangalore's 24th convocation on July 7, a mother-son duo, Ranjani MV, 48, and Raghav SN, 22, graduated together.</li><li>Ranjani received her PhD in Algorithms in Computer Science, while Raghav earned his MTech. Both collaborated on projects during their studies. Ranjani, a BMS College of Engineering alumna, took a 13-year career break to care for her children before completing a master's at PES University.</li><li>This duo's achievement was part of a larger ceremony where 343 students graduated, including 121 from the integrated MTech programme and 11 PhD scholars.</li></ul>
