Meta Platforms has signed a 20-year deal with Constellation for nuclear energy to meet AI demand at its data centers in the United States.
The agreement will provide 1,121 megawatts of emissions-free nuclear energy and begin in June 2027, expanding capacity and preserving local jobs.
The deal is aimed at supporting Meta's AI innovation and sustainability objectives, partnering with Constellation to strengthen American leadership in energy.
Tech giants like Microsoft, Google, Amazon are also securing nuclear energy deals for their data centers due to the surging electricity demand driven by AI.
