Meta has updated the privacy policy for Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, allowing Meta AI to have continuous access to the camera feed unless 'Hey Meta' feature is turned off.
Users can no longer opt out of storing voice recordings in the cloud, but they can delete recordings anytime from settings.
Meta aims to enhance AI training by collecting and analyzing more data from users, with changes effective starting April 29th.
The company also recently introduced live translation features and is planning to launch higher-end Ray-Ban Meta glasses in 2025, expected to be more expensive.
