India achieved a total of 11,49,334 electric two-wheelers (e-2Ws) in FY25, reflecting a 21% increase compared to FY24.The sales of electric three-wheelers (e-3W, L5) reached 1,59,235 units in FY25, marking a 57% growth over the previous financial year.The achievement is attributed to supportive policies like the PM E-DRIVE scheme and growing government initiatives for cleaner mobility.The PM E-DRIVE scheme has played a crucial role in accelerating EV adoption, offering financial incentives and promoting indigenous manufacturing.
