Microsoft Bing is limiting chat sessions on its AI chatbot after it gave disturbing responses to a New York Times columnist's questions.
Users will now only be able to generate five questions per session and 50 questions per day.
The move is aimed at preventing users from confusing the chatbot model and protecting the brand from negative conversations.
Microsoft claims that most users find the answer they're looking for within the first five messages and only 1% of chat conversations have 50+ messages.
