<ul><li>Microsoft has launched Edit, a new command-line text editor for Windows, unveiled at the Microsoft Build conference.</li><li>The Edit app is lightweight, under 250kB in size, and has a modern interface resembling Visual Studio Code.</li><li>It supports mouse mode, common keyboard shortcuts, Word Wrap, Match Case, and Regular Expression features.</li><li>Microsoft has released Edit's source code under the MIT license, written in Rust programming language, and will be available in the Windows Insider Program soon.</li></ul>
