Microsoft has taken legal action against the information-stealing malware Lumma Stealer and blocked thousands of related websites.A federal court in Georgia permitted Microsoft's digital crimes unit to take down around 2,300 websites crucial to Lumma's operations.Lumma, a malware tool sold since 2022, enables theft of passwords, credit card information, and crypto wallets.Microsoft collaborated with law enforcement agencies to identify infected computers and disrupt communications with the Lumma malware.
