Microsoft has identified a new remote access trojan (RAT) called StilachiRAT that targets cryptocurrency wallets on Google Chrome.
StilachiRAT extracts credentials stored in the browser, scans for crypto wallet extensions, and intercepts private keys and passwords.
20 cryptocurrency wallets, including Bitget Wallet, Trust Wallet, and Coinbase Wallet, are specifically targeted by StilachiRAT.
Microsoft advises users to install antivirus software, enable cloud-based protection, and be cautious when copying and pasting wallet addresses and passwords.
