It also has new management experience centers for monitoring an agent’s performance, subscriptions, access permissions, and quota usage.
  • To enhance their AI agent technologies, Microsoft has an expanded catalog of several open-source AI models and frontier models. The expansion includes LLM models from pharmaceutical firm, Bayer AG and Paige.ai, among others, and serverless deployment options for models-as-a-service models from Hugging Face and Cohere.
  • Microsoft’s Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technique is also receiving an upgrade. The technique permits companies to forward custom data to pretrained LLMs and SLMs to improve accuracy and speed. Also, Microsoft has provided its customers with cloud-based AI governance platforms to increase safety and compliance.
  • Additionally, Microsoft has unveiled its Azure AI Content Understanding tool. The tool enables developers to create cost-effective multimodal applications that can read text, audio, video or images. The Azure Container Apps serverless graphics processing units are also available as an option for serverless infrastructures.
  • Jessica Hawk, Microsoft’s Corporate Vice President of Data, AI and Digital Applications, said Azure AI Foundry's innovation would assist more companies in adopting AI in a landscape that is experiencing ongoing evolution.
