Microsoft has introduced Majorana 1, a chip for quantum computing using a new kind of superconductor called topoconductor.
The chip utilizes a Topological Core architecture and can solve industrial-scale problems faster than current machines.
It is designed to be able to fit one million qubits, enabling breakthroughs in various fields, such as self-healing materials and sustainable food growth.
While more development is needed, Microsoft has already overcome challenges in stacking the topoconductor's materials.
